Public Notice Ennis Sewer System– December 11, 2025
During routine sewer manhole inspections today, Ennis Public Works discovered a large quantity of towels and wipes in one of the manholes. Items like towels and wipes should never be placed in the sewer system, as they can cause severe blockages and lead to costly repairs.
Please remember: Only flush pee, poop, and toilet paper. Flushable wipes, and any other objects besides pee, poop, and toilet paper, are not flushable and are prohibited in the sewer system under Ennis Town Code 10-1-4 (C)(4).
