Any permits issued by the Town of Ennis may be paid for through this page. Please refer to the fee schedule listed below for applicable permit costs.

Fees

The following fees apply to permits and related services issued by the Town of Ennis. All fees are due at the time of application unless otherwise specified.

Zoning Permits

• Zoning permit requiring site plan review: $400.00
• Zoning permit requiring sketch plan review: $200.00
• Zone change: $1,000.00 plus publication, posting, and mailing costs
• Addition: $100.00
• Garage: $100.00
• Fence: $50.00
• Deck: $50.00
• Auxiliary structure: $50.00
• After-the-fact permit: Double permit fee

Mobile / Manufactured Homes

• Manufactured/Mobile/Modular deposit (refundable if compliant): amount determined at application

Utilities / Street Encroachment (application required)

• Water hook-up: $2,425.00 (one tap per residential dwelling unit)
• Sewer hook-up: $3,613.00 (all components must be approved by the Public Works Director)

Street Bond (refundable upon Public Works inspection)

• Paved surface: $500.00 (Encroachment Permit required)
• Unpaved surface: $300.00 (Encroachment Permit required)
