During today’s thunderstorm, a sensor on the Town’s water tower malfunctioned. This sensor is responsible for monitoring the water level and signaling when the water tank needs to be refilled.
Due to this sensor failure, the wells supplying water to the Town must now be operated manually until the replacement parts arrive. To ensure the water tower remains full, we will manually monitor the overflow and shut off the wells accordingly. This approach is necessary to maintain a safe and consistent water supply for the Town.
We have ordered replacement parts and expect them to arrive soon. During this interim period, you may notice water flowing from the tower.
Thank you for your understanding.
