The Lions Park parking lot will remain closed due to a water main break discovered in the area. When Ennis Public Works exposed the leak, they found a water pipe that is incompatible with current industry standards. To facilitate a proper repair, Ennis Public Works must replace the water line from the fire hydrant located east of the Nearly New Store to Lions Park.
This repair is expected to take a few days to complete. During this time, the Lions Park parking lot will remain closed; however, the sidewalk for pedestrian access to Lions Park will remain open.
