March 3rd, 2022 Ennis Public Works has been busy maintaining the Town’s water system. This morning they finished replacing the well pump on South First. Part of the process includes sterilization of the well once the replacement well has been installed. In order to sterilize the well a one time chlorine disinfection is done according to Montana DEQ requirements. Residents may notice a little residual chlorine treatment while it works it way from the water system. Rest assured the levels are safe and will dissipate shortly.
